We are excited to introduce YouNow’s newest game- Black Jack! 

 

How to Join a Round of Black Jack:
- Join the game by sending a Pearl Tip Jar
- Send multiple Tip Jars to increase your bet

There is a maximum of 10 players per round. If there is no space on the table, you’ll get to join in the fun the next round!

How to Play:

  • Once you’re in the round, you’ll be dealt two cards and the dealer gets one card 
  • Type the command !m in the chat to get more cards (“hit”) to try and get 21 aka Black Jack! 
  • Be careful- if the value of your cards goes over 21, you lose!

When the hitting phase timer hits zero, it’s the dealer’s turn. The dealer will hit until he either reaches a score of 17 or busts (goes over 21). At the end of each round, a results page will show and the winner(s) will receive their pearls!

FAQ: 

How can I beat the dealer?

By drawing a hand value that is higher than the dealer’s hand value, by the dealer drawing a hand value that goes over 21, or by drawing a hand value of 21 on your first two cards, when the dealer does not.

How can I lose?

Your hand value exceeds 21 or the dealer's hand has a greater value than yours at the end of the round.

What happens if the dealer and I have the same hand value?

You get your original pearls bet returned.

What does the Ace card do?

The ace card counts as either a 10 or a 1. If your score would becoming higher than 21, it becomes a 1. E.g: you have an Ace and a 5, your hand value is 15, if you get another card that has a value of 10, you don’t have 25 but 16. 

How much do I win?

On a blackjack you get twice as many pearls back. By winning with a higher number or the dealer busting you receive 1.7 times the amount you bet. 

Where can I get more Pearls?

You can get Pearls for free as your daily login bonus. You can also buy Pearls with Gold Bars. To enter the buy Pearls portal, click on your profile photo in the upper righthand corner and select your Pearl balance. 

 

I didn't get my Pearls after winning. What happened?

Try refreshing the page and checking your Pearl balance history. Pearl Tip Jars sent will itemize as Gift Sending and winnings will be itemized as Games Rewards. If you don’t see your rewards even after refreshing, please contact our support team at younow.com/support and they can assist you further! 

Is this game legal in my country?

All of the games on YouNow are designed with a US audience in mind and intended for players who are over 18 years old.

I am under 18. Can I play?

No. Black Jack is only for users who are 18 and older.

Is Black Jack gambling?

No. You can play for free with the daily Pearls reward, and you cannot win anything of value as Pearls cannot be exchanged for money.

Can I send a different amount than the Pearl Tip Jars shown?

No. We currently have set amounts of Pearls that you can send. We are evaluating changing this in the future!
