Gifting Subs

You can now gift a user a subscription! When any subscribable user (all partners) is broadcasting, users have the ability to gift a viewer a month (or multiple months) of subscription. Simply click the user who you like to gift a sub.

Using this feature gives a user of your choosing subscription for one, three, six or twelve months of the Partner whose broadcast you are watching. This month subscription will not renew automatically. 

As a reminder, a monthly subscription costs $4.99 USD (or equivalent in local currency) or 50,000 Diamonds, and will be charged/deducted to the user who gifts the sub. 

Please note that if using Diamonds to gift a sub, you must have enough Diamonds in your available Diamond Balance in order to complete the transaction. 

At this time, gifting subscriptions is only available on the desktop version of YouNow. It will be available on iOS and Android in the future.

How much does a gifted sub cost?

1 Month: $4.99 USD or 50,000 Diamonds

3 Months: $14.99 USD or 150,000 Diamonds

6 Months $29.99 or 300,000 Diamonds

12 Month: $59.99 or 600,000 Diamonds

Am I able to change my mind after I have gifted a sub?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on either cash or Diamond balance once you have confirmed you would like to gift a sub. This is because the Partner who is subscribed to is paid in advance.
