Moments
Moments is a clip of broadcasts you can make or be made of. It’s an easy way to share and explore new content.
Capturing Moments
On the YouNow app:
- Head to a live broadcast and click on the lighting icon
- The Moment editor will pop up with a recorded video of the previous 25 seconds.
- Add a caption, and voilà — your moment is made!
- You can share your moment on FaceBook, Twitter, via URL, text, and email.
On the web:
- Head to a live broadcast and click on the lighting icon
- The Moment editor will pop up with a recorded video of the previous 25 seconds.

Finding/Removing Moments
- You can find the moments other people created of you on your profile in chronological order.
- Moments you've captured will appear on your profile and on the Moments feed.
- To delete a moment you’ve created, click or tap the ellipsis on the top right-hand corner of the moment and select "delete."
- You can hide a moment that someone else made of you from your profile by clicking or tapping the ellipsis in the top right-hand corner and selecting "Hide." You cannot delete another user's moment, but if you feel it violates YouNow's Community Standards, you can report it by selecting the "Report" option in the ellipsis.
- Once it is posted, a moment cannot be edited.
- You can only create a moment from a live broadcast, but check out the Moments feed to see what you missed.
